The Université de Rouen Normandie is a multidisciplinary university with a focus on health. It comprises 12 departments (UFR, institutes, schools) and 37 research units (36 accredited laboratories and one university laboratory), divided into three major teaching and research clusters, which make up the richness of the establishment.
They offer a wide range of training courses that are accessible to all and meet the needs of the region, as well as a wealth of innovation and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on cross-disciplinary projects.

- Chemistry, Biology, Health (CBS): 14 laboratories
- Materials, energy, digital and environment (MENE): 9 laboratories
- Humanities, culture and society (HCS): 14 laboratories
Research activities at the Université de Rouen Normandie are carried out by research units (UR), joint research units (UMR) and service units (US), either belonging to the institution or under joint supervision (Universities of Caen and Le Havre, INSA Rouen, ESIGELEC, CNRS, INSERM, INRAE).
