Position open to recruitment
In application of decree no. 95-979 of August 25, 1995, as amended, concerning the recruitment of disabled workers in the civil service, taken for the application of article 27 of law no. 84-16 of January 11, 1984, concerning statutory provisions relating to the civil service of the State, the University of Rouen Normandie has opened a recruitment procedure for the year 2025, as a contract agent (job type ‘Editor’). The successful candidate will be recruited from September 1, 2025, for a one-year contract.

Conditions to apply
This recruitment is aimed at people with disabilities who are not civil servants, who are recognized as disabled workers or who fall into another category of beneficiaries of the employment obligation, and who meet the same diploma or equivalence conditions as those required for external competitions.
You must also meet the general conditions for admission to the civil service:
- French nationality or that of a member state of the European Union
- enjoy full civil rights
- have a criminal record with no entries in bulletin no. 2 that are incompatible with the performance of the duties concerned
- be in good standing with regard to national service.
Recruitment procedures
- The recruitment committee, which includes at least the head of human resources and the site’s disability coordinator and, depending on the type of recruitment, the head of the department where the position is to be filled, selects the applications (covering letter and curriculum vitae) of candidates likely to be interviewed.
The selection of applications will take place on May 16, 2025. - The committee interviews candidates to assess their professional skills and motivation, and establishes a ranking in order of merit.
Candidates will be interviewed on June 2, 2025. - The admission test consists of a 5-minute presentation to the committee, followed by a 20-minute discussion with the committee for categories B and C, and 25 minutes for categories A.

Applications sent by internal mail will not be accepted. They must be postmarked or delivered by hand to the competitions office in exchange for a receipt.
The file will include :
- the completed and signed“BOE 2025 Recruitment” application form
- copy of ID
- copies of diplomas
- a curriculum vitae
- a cover letter outlining the candidate’s career path and explaining why he or she would like to be recruited on a contract basis at the University of Rouen Normandy
- a copy of the recognition of the status of disabled worker, or of any document justifying the status of beneficiary of the employment obligation valid for the duration of the contract, i.e. until August 31, 2026
- a medical certificate issued by an approved physician certifying the compatibility of the disability with the job applied for (if the candidate has not already entered public employment)
If accommodation and/or accompaniment is required to take part in the audition, a medical certificate must be produced by the applicant.
